Our History

Norview Gardens Ltd., a Canadian and family owned business, has been growing quality ornamental grasses for 25 years. In 1996, Paul Scharringa started the business on a farm that he purchased near the quaint village of Norwich, ON, and it has continued to the second generation with Jeff becoming fully involved and a co-owner. Norview Gardens Ltd. started by growing a few species of ornamental grasses and a few other perennials but soon concentrated solely on grasses. We are producers of liners/plugs that are available to our customers for potting up, and also provide landscape-ready plants which are supplied to the many high-quality plant nurseries and garden centres here in Ontario and throughout Canada.

We are privileged to be part of such a great industry where we are able to grow and provide quality grasses for the beautification of the surrounding landscapes and home gardens, and we are committed in continuing to serve this industry to the best of our abilities.
